YWCA Dayton provides direct services to survivors of gender-based violence, housing, youth programming, and advocacy to support marginalized individuals and families, especially women and girls of color, while working to challenge structural barriers to equity.

YWCA Dayton is on the front lines of responding to and preventing gender-based violence, connecting women to safe and affordable housing, and advocating for women and girls.

Domestic Violence Shelters
Our shelters in Montgomery & Preble serve survivors of intimate partner violence, stalking and human trafficking.

Rape Crisis Center
We serve all survivors of sexual violence, with advocacy, support groups, resource connections, and other services.

24/7 Crisis Hotline
If you or someone you know needs help with domestic violence, sexual violence, stalking or human trafficking, our hotline is here at 937-222-SAFE. In an emergency call 911.

Permanent Supportive Housing
We support women who have previously experienced homelessness, now living in permanent housing at our Central Building.

Rapid Rehousing
We help women and families with short-term rental assistance and services, to help survivors secure new housing after experiencing gender-based violence.

HomeShare
This two-year program that helps women and their children who are survivors achieve permanent safety and stability as they move from emergency shelter to independent living.

Girls LEAD!
Our in-school, after school and summer programming helps girls explore and celebrate their strengths, their voices, who they are today, and who they will become Because we know girls who lead become women of influence.

Sojourn Leadership & Justice Academy
Through our intensive, mission-driven nine-month program, our Sojourners graduate uniquely prepared to serve on nonprofit boards, be educated advocates for social justice, and act as equity leaders in the Miami Valley.

AMEND Together
AMEND Together is YWCA Dayton’s first program aimed at engaging men and boys in ending violence against women and girls. This includes in-school, after school and summer programming.

YWCA Dayton is the domestic violence shelter, rape crisis center and 24/7 hotline for Montgomery and Preble County, Ohio. We offer youth programming through AMEND Together and Girls LEAD. We are on the front lines of ending homelessness through our four housing programs.
